    Excellent ! Callum is a professional informative and extremely patient man.Bought my daughter a Ford Ka in April 2023 and have had no trouble at all. The petrol cap got stuck and Callum was quick to send me a replacement .Car was delivered to my door.Very happy.

    Car purchase

    I called up Evans Autos to book in an appointment on a Ford KA for my Daughter. I spoke to Callum and he was very helpful. Fortunately they had a hand full of KA’s in stock in all different colours as my Daughter was stuck on what colour she preferred. I didn’t write a review straight away as wanted to see how the car performed, It’s now been over a month and had no problems at all. Happy Daughter happy Father. Thanks Callum

    The car was a money pit and had been clocked

    In January 2023 I bought a mini cooper from Evans Autos, I desperately needed a car as I had just separated from my husband. I went alone and just bought the car without anyone checking it. It was only cheap at £1,500, it actually broke down as I went to get it valeted the next day and they charged the battery for me. I immediately had to spend £100 on a new Halfords battery. I ended up spending so much on the car that when the power steering motor broke I decided to get rid of the car. I took it to we buy any car in Woking and they gave me £320 for it. They said the MOT and mileage had a massive discrepancy (it lost about 90,000 somewhere), they said the car had likely been clocked. A complete headache car that was knackered and in 6-months it lost 80% of its value. I would not buy a car from Evans Autos ever again.

    Good, honest car dealer!

    Recently bought a Mini from Callum at Evans autos. Found him to be honest and friendly and not at all pushy. On purchasing the car I had a couple of issues with it, which was nothing that Callum would have known about, but he was quick to have them rectified without any qualms. He even put enough petrol in afterwards to get me home. All in all a good place to buy a car from. Thanks Callum

    Sadly we had the same experience as Kelly, thought buying from a dealer the car would have been sound. new car was in the garage longer than we got to use it.. and then you are penalised for buying for it..

    Don’t waste your time or money!

    A long review but worth a read if you want to avoid losing money to this dealer! I bought a blue 10 plate Mini Cooper from Evans on 19th February & within the first few days of owning it I experienced a number of issues including very heavy steering, a catastrophic coolant leak and the bulb warning light coming on intermittently. I contacted Evans & asked to return the vehicle for a full refund as per my statutory rights. Evans refused & said they would repair it but not refund which I reluctantly agreed to as I needed a working car. When the mechanic collected the car I discussed the heavy steering with him & he said it was possible the leaked coolant had damaged the power steering system. The car was returned the following day with the coolant leak fixed but they advised the steering was fine. I drove the car later that day & the steering was still not right so took it to Kwik Fit to have the wheel alignment checked. The mechanic there agreed the steering wasn’t right but the wheel alignment was only slightly off so wouldn’t be the cause & advised it would need further investigation. I contacted Evans again & received a rude response with a refusal to acknowledge any fault & was told I had unreasonable expectations about used cars. Callum eventually agreed to have his mechanic look at it again & after a week I received an email saying that there was no fault (which I still dispute) but saying he would refund me minus reasonable expenses. He offered a refund of £2700 (the car was advertised for £3150 & I paid £3000) as he said the car was now worth significantly less as it had higher mileage (I’d done less than 250miles) & an extra owner. We eventually agreed on a refund of £2800 as I needed the money to replace the car & didn’t have the time to pursue it through the courts. I am now £400 down including the cost of a new battery fitted under advice from a Mini dealer, in an attempt to fix the heavy steering (plus more for the tax & insurance costs) & despite his insistence that the car is now worth “significantly less” I see the vehicle is now advertised for £3450. I would strongly recommend against buying from Evans Autos as they do not operate within the appropriate consumer rights laws, so like me, you could end up out of pocket while they are quids in!

We really did try hard to resolve this issue with you prior to you being refunded. Our mechanics had this car in the workshop for multiple days running numerous tests failing to find any problems.     Exceptional Customer Service

    I bought a faulty car from Callum (not his fault, previous owner bodged the electrics and hid the issue) and the customer service was exceptional, he helped guide me through the process and when the fault arose was quick to take the car back and provide a full refund. Pleasure to deal with, would happily buy from Callum again.
